American Express has officially opened its newest Centurion Lounge at Tokyo Haneda International Airport (HND). 

The Amex Centurion Lounge Tokyo Haneda is the first Centurion Lounge in Japan and marks a significant step in the global lounge expansion for the company. Located in Terminal 3 near Gate 114, the lounge opens its doors to travelers on July 16, 2025.

The new space brings together Japanese design, premium culinary offerings, and thoughtful amenities. With seating for 122 guests across 7,500 square feet, it provides a tranquil retreat for travelers flying in or out of one of Asia’s busiest international gateways.

Blending Japanese Design With Global Comfort

Every detail of the lounge reflects a strong connection to the rich culture and design traditions of Japan. 

The space features locally inspired artwork, handcrafted accents, and a distinct color palette known as “Japan Blue.” These design elements create an atmosphere that feels both authentic and calming.

Special attention has been given to wellness and relaxation. 

The lounge includes meditation pods, quiet work booths, sensory lighting, and natural soundscapes to help guests unwind before their flight. 

A standout feature is the outdoor terrace, offering rare open-air seating and clear views of the airport’s runways.

A Culinary Experience Rooted In Local Flavors

Guests can enjoy a menu designed by celebrated chef Satoshi Ogino, who brings together Japanese and Western influences. 

Fresh, live-prepared sushi, regional ramen, beef curry, and Japanese sweets headline the dining experience. Meals are crafted with locally sourced ingredients and presented with artistic flair.

The beverage selection includes Japanese whiskey, shochu, sake, local beers, and cocktails inspired by traditional flavors. Non-alcoholic options, matcha desserts, and American Express-branded cookies are also available throughout the day.

The lounge is equipped with everything a traveler needs to rest or stay productive. 

Features include high-speed Wi-Fi, multiple charging stations, private phone booths, family-friendly spaces, and fully equipped shower rooms. 

A dedicated VIP area offers a more private experience for Centurion Card holders.

Digital flight information displays help travelers stay on schedule, and flexible seating zones accommodate solo travelers, business flyers, and families alike.

Access And Hours Of Operation

The Centurion Lounge at Tokyo Haneda is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Access is available to American Express cardmembers holding The Platinum Card® from American Express, The Business Platinum Card® from American Express, Centurion® Card from American Express, or Business Centurion® Card from American Express.

Guest access is included for select cardmembers who meet annual spending thresholds. Additional guest entry is available for a fee: $50 for adults, $30 for children aged 2 to 17, and no charge for children under 2.
